Fairwheels have basically done the work for you, its a Kalloy UNO7 stem with the graphics removed, an easy job with nail polish remover, and Ti bolts,
i think J&L on ebay probably do a bolt kit fir the UNO stem.
After the stem, QR skewers and the headset upgrades are probably your biggest savings. CRC do the bearings.

Your bike is great, thank you for pictures. What is the distance between bottom bracket to seat top?MrDeia wrote: ↑Thu Jul 06, 2017 11:23 amMy first build
My Velobuild frame arrived 2 weeks ago (fast delivery in about 7 days from China -> NL).
Build it up with Ultegra and can't say anything else that i'm really happy with the result and riding! Light, stiff though comfortable and silent! Just how i wanted it to be.
As i'm living in the ultra flat low lands Holland, this is next to my BMC the bike which i will use for less nice weather riding , late evening sessions (adding lights), vacation climbing the mountains in other countries ... or just whenever i want to ride it
Not being a diehard WW , i'm very curious on how to shave off a bit of weight without spending a lot of money. Any hints are welcome

Hi MrDeia,
Congrats on your bike/build. Very nice!
I'm considering ordering a Hongfu frame.
Would you mind telling me how much import taxes you had to pay?
I live in Belgium but it might be smarter to have it delivered with my parents in The Netherlands..
Thanks, kind regards Jasper

I live in Belgium, too, have received my Hongfu frame last year and payed more than double of the original costs of it for import taxes. Netherlands is deff worth it!jasperp wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 1:46 pmHi MrDeia,
