Final build and detail pictures on Page 4
===============================================================
Build Log follows:-

Just bought this for my collection - specifically, the "Bling" section :D
Been a fan of Colnago as a young child (I am 54 now) but had no money and could only ogle at these steads
This "Art Deco" scheme is something maybe my generation can appreciate more - more for the intricate gold painting that I am told was designed by Ernesto himself (he sure knows how to tease my Generation)
You either love it or don't - call it a Generation Gap or two

I love it, as to me, it is a fusion between the past (intricate Arabesque style) in a modern format (Aero Road Frame)

I am looking forward to building this to put in my "Bucket Collection"

Got them now, the gold detailing looks stunning. Any idea of the final weight.

Thanks. The gold detailing is indeed the reason why I am keeping this in my "Bucket List Collection". Not so much as my only ride, but as something that would take pride of place in my collection and display. This is a celebration more of "Form" rather than "Function", though I read that the Concept is a fast bike.

All my other daily rides are really conventional - slabs of colour here and there. Even if they are custom paint jobs. Nothing like these intricate gold brush strokes over black on the Colnago. It is just different. And .... of course, this Art Deco design HAS to be on an Italian marque

I will be doing a paper build over the next few days once I have decided on my choice of components, wheels and how I am going to ride this (flats or combos) and how often I will be using it compared to my other bikes

Target weight? I would say 7-7.5kg? Very much depending on the wheel set as most of the components are already Colnago CHDK matched

Holy $&%! This is going to be good... Given the heavy seatpost, this definitely won't be any weenie but who the hell cares..

I know its manufactured in Taiwan, then shipped back to Italy to be painted but can we get some closeups of the gold paint? Also, are they using the same 3k carbon as seen on the C60 or fully monocoque?

As far as the bartape goes, would steer clear of the colnago labelled tape as they will rub off with extensive use.

Wow! Did Colnago paint the bars for you or did you have those done custom?

@jimaizumi - It is UD carbon monocoque - similar to the first fully carbon monocoque C35. Thanks for tips on the tape. It is just so matching. Any suggestion for any dimpled silicone type? In this case, just to give the aero message

@Calnago - those bars came with the frame (only for the Art Deco series)

Yes, both CHDK and CHDB are the "Art Deco" series. Matching bars for these two codes
