A few quick pictures after completing the build. Weight is 6680g as pictured. Used red Sugru to cover the Di2 holes, pretty happy with the result (see last picture). Will cut steerer after a few rides (geometry changes compared to my 2015 CF SLX).

I really like the look of Canyon Bikes. When are they going to be offered in the US?

@squid Canyon comes to the US in late summer/early fall according to the company. A lot of folks seem to think it'll get pushed back.

@ill principe that's pretty smart stuff with the sugru. Is it waterproof?

Love that red/orange colour. So immense.

That said, this frame colour only shines fully with the contrast from black finishing kit. Anything else just takes the eye away from it.

Hope to see it again with black tape and tyre walls someday :)

@jbaillie Yes its waterproof, quite an amazing material actually.

@Shrike Not unlikely that it will get black tires later, I only run matching saddle and tape so a bigger change to achieve that. I think that the the colour is so strong in real life that it can "win" over white tape/saddle and still remain in focus. Actually the Trek Segafredo team bikes was a stronger influence color wise than Katusha ones.

Yes, personally would only go for black bar tape and black saddle. :)

I am a fan of the white tape/saddle and the gumwalls. Personal preference hey :noidea:

Awesome looking rig!

Lovely bike, have you any idea how much the wheels weigh including tyres, casette and skewers?

Not for the complete wheels atm.

Front wheel 624g, rear 744g, skewers 78g on my scale. Real world weights for a Vittoria Graphene tubular and a Force cassette should not be to hard to find.

Even with those stupid looking Etap mechs, this is the best Canyon I've seen for a while. Normally hate the look of these bikes, I think because the front end looks stupid with spacers under the stem. Thankfully, you've slammed it!
