Sold off my Orange Protos and now its Bianchi!

Hardly see Bianchi on the roads where I am from so decided to give this a go.
Decided not to go with the route of using celeste col bartape. The Saddle has a hint of celeste cut outs.

Size 50 in B1 colour scheme.
Super Record grpset
Bora Ultra50 wheels (building a set of custom wheel at the moment)
FSA K-force handlebar in bianchi color scheme
Thomson stem
Fizik Arione Saddle

Weight - 6.5kg

That's an awesome bike.... well done.. Maybe its the pic but that tire in the last pic looks dangerously close to the seat tube....

How does this compare to the Protos?

Very nice!! Don't see many Bianchis these days, so it's refreshing to see this.

Very nice bike.

Personally, I am not too happy with the Thomson stem.

Perfect!

A XR2 vs PROTOS comparative review would be great.

Thank you :) yeah...its the camera angle. still loads of space left for the tire. 25mm will be very fine as well.

Thank you :)

yeah....would want a full Italian bike but the handlebar was such a compliment to the frame so I had to get it.
stem - not much options for -17 (zipp might work though but i'm afraid it will so just stick to Thomson for now.

Thanks kgt.

I will do a comparative review after a few more rides.

bro....yeahhh. This one is a little beefy at 6.5kg but very acceptable to me for races. I might bring it down to 6.3kg with some minor changes but so far so good at 6.5kg.

Looks great. Just curious how tall are you and what's your inseam in inches? I'm wondering if a size 50 would work for me also. I'm 5'7.5" with 29-30" inseam.

Looks Great! I'm with the others above, not a fan of the thompson stem, you can get a 3t -17 and de-logo it so it will be full black. Would really finish of the bike IMO.

Otherwise thats a drool-worthy bike!
