Hallo

Are there any news. There are no changes on their homepage and nothing in the shops as far as I have seen in Europe.

Kind Regards

Matthias

Hmmm. Looks like that would work well here, too...

A friend has been through 6 now

Despite the sidewall looking good compared to the cotton of a Dugast, it seems the RR is far more susceptible to puncture than the Dugast due to an extremely thin tube being used.

Hope others are having more luck!

Same for me!!

Cheap tyres but become expensive after a couple of rides(punctures)!

That internal Tube is a nightmare to seal in a flat tyre.

RR Tubular for me no more thanks.

I wonder if there is any more news on the Maxxis and Challenge tubulars?

Now Nino Schurter has won the 1st World Cup of the year on a custom Scott 650B equipped bike.

Dt Swiss rims and custom Dugasts of course:

How about resurrecting this thread? Surely there are some newer model tubs on the market by now? Vittoria?

Well I have been using the 29er geax sagaro ' s for year now. I have not done an mtb race since May but all my off road riding at the moment is done on these tubs. It's quite muddy at the moment and these tubs grip. I have to run then at 23 psi. Any less they feel squirmy in the bends any more the ride gets harsher. In fact I would say these are the best all round tyres I have ever ridden on.

I do long rides on them. I have had only one puncture but I left the thorn in and I got home. Latex sealant sorted it out and both tyres are now preloaded with sealant.

I also have dugast fast birds but have flatted two of them which does not inspire confidence. These are tubs for racing only.

Mtb tubs are not just for racing they are very practical.

Looks like you cross-posted in newer thread that mentok linked to. Why don't we close this one?
