Hello guys,

I have come across great price on Cannondale Flash with Lefty fork. Everything is really great until the part when I asked about frame size. Guy that is owner of the bike says that he is 185 cm high (6 feet), and I am 180 (5.9 feet). Frame size is S... He says that bike fits him great. However, I was looking at Cannondale charts, and they say that I should get frame size L. Is there any chance that this bike will fit me? I mean it would be okay if frame is M for example, but S? As I said owner of the bike is even higher then I am.

Thank you very much for the answers! :D

Bike sizing is a lot to personal choice, some prefer a small frame.

I'm 6 ft 1 or 185 and have cannondale flash 26 in that is large frame (19 in). Seat post which I believe is 400mm is close to max extension so I.m border of XL frame.

Medium would be too small, Small frame, no *f##k* way.

How tall are you, that determines the frame size

Hey, Thanks for the answer. As I said I am 180 cm tall. I am not sure how that guy fits S frame :-/ here is the picture of the bike: https://i.imgur.com/Bwfk4iv.jpg

So S frame definitely too small for me?

Definitely too small. Its clearly too small for him too. That must seat mast puts far too much force on the frames seat tube.

Yikes!

It depends on your proportions, I have to go up a size for my height as I'm long in the torso and short in the leg (relatives to others of a similar height) so to get the right reach/stack from pedals to bars I need a larger bike, usually a medium or large despite being 5'9".

180cm is 5'11".
